FAQs
We groom a wide range of breeds and coat types, from working cocker spaniels and cockapoos to Pomeranians and Bedlington whippets. If you have a particular finish in mind, tell us when you book and we will talk it through.
Our photographs show full grooms, body clips, puppy grooms, hand stripping and bath and brush outs, and nails and pads are part of the work. Ring us on 01242 548774 and we will go through what suits your dog.
Owners tell us their nervous dogs settle with us, and gentle calmness is what we are known for. We work at the dog's pace rather than rushing the session.
Yes, puppy grooms are one of the things we do most. The aim of a first visit is a relaxed dog who is happy to come back.
A short clip grows back, and some owners choose it for that reason. If your dog feels the cold afterwards, a coat and keeping out of the puddles helps.
It depends on the coat and how it is likely to grow between visits. Bring it up at drop off and we will suggest what works.
